    Discipline 01

    Audio: capsule, capsule mount, and everything that touches it.

    A cardioid capsule is only as good as what surrounds it. We specify the internal shock isolation, the mesh density of the head, and the weight of the base together, because a mic that transmits desk vibration into the capsule is not a studio mic regardless of its frequency response chart.

    Every mic in the line is recorded against a reference capsule in a treated room, at three gain stages, on three operating systems. The measured noise floor and frequency response are what appear on the tag — nothing rounded, nothing borrowed from a supplier datasheet.

    Discipline 02

    Light: color rendition first, lumens second.

    A bright light with poor color rendition makes skin look wrong on camera, and no amount of post-production fully recovers it. We specify CRI before brightness, and we test every batch against real skin tones under three camera sensors rather than against a spectrometer alone.

    The asymmetric optics on our monitor bar exist for one reason: light belongs on your desk and your face, not bouncing off the panel you are reading. That constraint drove the housing geometry, not the other way around.

    Discipline 03

    Treatment: absorption coefficients, not vibes.

    Acoustic foam is sold on appearance far more often than on measured performance. Ours is specified by density and NRC across the speech band, fire-treated, and manufactured low-VOC so it can live in a room you sit in for eight hours.

    We publish the coverage area per pack and the absorption rating because those are the two numbers that determine whether a pack will actually change how your room sounds.

    Shipping cost

    Shipping is free within the United States on every order (free shipping). There is no minimum order value, no handling fee and no surcharge for U.S. destinations. The price you see on the product page is the price you pay.

    Processing and delivery times

    Orders are processed within one business day of payment clearing. Delivery is 7 to 10 business days from the order processing date. Shipments are not sent on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays.

    Carriers and tracking

    All orders ship via USPS. Every shipment is tracked, and the tracking number is emailed to the address used at checkout as soon as the parcel leaves our fulfillment centre. You can also look up your order status at any time from our Track your order page.

    If the tracking email has not arrived within two business days of your order confirmation, check your spam folder first, then contact us — we will resend it the same day.

    United States orders

    We ship within the United States at no cost to you. Orders must use a United States delivery address at checkout.

    • All shipments are handled by USPS with tracking.
    • Delivery takes 7 to 10 business days from the order processing date.
    • If an address cannot be serviced by USPS, we will cancel the order and refund it in full.

    Address accuracy

    We ship to the address entered at checkout exactly as it appears. Please check it carefully before placing your order. Once a parcel has left the fulfillment centre we cannot redirect it. If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable because of an incorrect or incomplete address, we will contact you and either reship it once you confirm a corrected address, or refund the order.

    Delays, damage and lost parcels

    If your order has not arrived within the stated delivery window, email support@lumikoa-studiogear.com with your order number. We open an investigation with the carrier the same business day and keep you updated until it is resolved.

    If a parcel arrives damaged, photograph the outer packaging and the contents before disposing of anything, and send the photographs with your order number. Damage in transit is our problem, not yours — we replace the item at our expense.

    Charges for orders placed on this website appear on your card statement as lumikoa-studiogear. If you see a charge you do not recognise, contact us before disputing it — we answer within 24 hours and refund fraudulent or unauthorized transactions in full, including S&H.

    You may return any product, opened or unopened, for a refund. Your returned package must be postmarked within 30 days of the date you received your order and must carry an RMA number obtained from customer service. Returns postmarked after 30 days from the received date are not credited.

    Packages sent without an RMA number written on the outside cannot be credited. Please contact customer service before shipping anything back.

    Refund timing and method

    Refunds are credited to the card used for the original purchase within three business days of us receiving the returned package. Depending on your bank, the credit may take a further two to five business days to appear on your statement. We do not issue refunds by cheque, store credit or to a different card.

    To process your refund we need your name and delivery address. If you provide insufficient or incorrect information your refund will be delayed.

    Limits on repeat refunds

    Customers are restricted to a single refund per product ordered. Repetitive refunds are not permitted unless the product, as delivered to you, is defective. We reserve the right to refuse a refund to any customer who repeatedly requests refunds or who, in our judgment, requests refunds in bad faith.

    Fraud and unauthorized transactions

    We refund all cases of fraud and unauthorized transactions in full, including shipping and handling charges. If a charge appears on your statement as lumikoa-studiogear and you do not recognise it, call +1 (833) 323-2668 or email us and we will resolve it directly — usually faster than a bank dispute, and without any cost to you.

    Cancelling an order

    If your order has not yet been processed, we can cancel it and refund you in full. Email or call as soon as possible with your order number. Once an order has been packed and dispatched it cannot be cancelled, but you can return it under the 30-day policy above.

    Defective or damaged items

    A product that fails through normal use is covered by our two-year limited warranty rather than this return policy, and we cover shipping in both directions for warranty cases. If your item arrives damaged in transit, contact us with photographs and we will replace it at our expense.

    No subscriptions

    Every order placed on this website is a one-time purchase. You are not enrolled in any continuity programme, subscription or recurring billing arrangement by ordering from us, and your card is not charged again after the initial purchase.

    Two-Year Limited Warranty

    Every unit we ship is covered for twenty-four months against material and workmanship defects. Here is what that covers, what it does not, and how to make a claim.

    What is covered

    Lumikoa warrants each product against defects in materials and workmanship for twenty-four months from the date of delivery. If a product fails through normal use within that period, we repair it, or replace it if it cannot be repaired — at our expense, including shipping in both directions.

    • Manufacturing defects in the housing, mesh, capsule, LED array, tripod, clamp or foam
    • Component failure under normal use — switches, dials, connectors, internal springs, control electronics
    • Finish defects present on delivery, such as anodising or powder-coat flaws
    • Battery cells falling below 70% of rated capacity within the warranty period, where applicable

    What is not covered

    • Accidental damage, drops, crushing or liquid ingress beyond the product's stated rating
    • Normal cosmetic wear — scuffs, scratches and finish fade from use
    • Damage from modification, disassembly, or repair attempted by anyone other than us
    • Use outside the stated operating range, or with non-compliant power supplies
    • Consumable parts past their expected life, such as foam shields and adhesive pads

    How to make a claim

    Replacement parts

    Common wear parts — boom arm springs, foam shields, tripod feet, desk clamps and thread adapters — are stocked for the life of every product line and can be ordered direct from the workshop, within the United States. Email us with your order number and the part you need.

    Statutory rights

    This limited warranty is a commercial guarantee offered voluntarily by CHIMANWANAECOMB LLC in addition to, and without affecting, any statutory rights you have under the consumer protection law of the United States. Nothing in this warranty limits those rights. This warranty should be read together with the Limitation of Liability clause of our Terms of Sale.
